Philips - FIRST CD PLAYER ON THE WORLD THE CD 100#SOLD TGO HUBERT PIETER LUXEMBURG
Here the worlds first ever CD Player: the PHILIPS CD100, made in Holland in 1982.
PHILIPS launched the first CD-Player, the world famous CD100.
The CD100 was an expensive one . At that time PHILIPS sponsored the Dire Straits, which were very popular in the eighties and the first album ever made on a CD was "Brothers in Arms"' by the Dire Straits:
The CD100 has the worldfamous cast- aluminium turnarm CDM-0 work which is allmost indestructable.
In my opinion still the best CD player that was ever made!!
The CD100 works PERFECT
Plays on 220 volts 50 Hz.
